What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file that your browser stores on your device. Cookies allow, for example, the Service to keep you signed in as you move between pages.
Cookies we use
Below are all cookies we use. They are strictly necessary within the meaning of section 205 of the Finnish Act on Electronic Communications Services (917/2014) and do not require consent.
- Sign-in cookie — keeps you signed in to the Service. Lifetime: up to 14 days or until you sign out.
- Security cookie — protects the Service against security attacks when you are signed in. Lifetime: your session.
- Language preference cookie — remembers which language you have selected (Finnish, English or Swedish). Lifetime: up to 1 year.
What we do not do
- We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
- We do not share data with Google Analytics, Facebook or similar services.
- We do not build profiling databases for third parties.
- We do not use device fingerprinting to circumvent cookie controls.
Mobile app
Our mobile apps do not use browser cookies. The app does, however, store similar data on your device in order to function: your sign-in token, your language preference, and — if you have opted in — a device identifier for push notifications. This data is strictly necessary for the app to function and is treated on the same principles as cookies.
Managing cookies
You can manage and delete cookies in your browser settings. Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent signing in to the Service. Instructions for common browsers:
Changes to this policy
If we add new types of cookies, such as optional analytics, we will ask for your separate consent before setting them and update this policy at the same time.
