Using SmoothBooking is always free for customers. The service itself doesn't charge for booking or joining a queue. You pay the business directly for the service at their normal rate.

You can book an appointment without creating an account. Joining a queue requires a quick sign-up so we can deliver your real-time queue position and notify you when it's your turn.

A booking reserves a specific time slot in the future, for example, tomorrow at 2 PM. Joining a queue is for immediate walk-in service: you check in now and see a real-time estimated wait. You'll be notified when it's your turn.

Your confirmation email includes a link to cancel or change the booking. You can also sign in to your profile to manage bookings. Note that individual businesses may have their own cancellation policies for last-minute changes.

You'll receive email confirmations and reminders. When joining a queue, you'll see your live position and estimated wait directly in your browser. Push notifications are coming soon.

Your data is stored on EU-based servers and we are GDPR compliant. We never sell or share your data with third parties. You can delete your account and data at any time from your profile settings.

No credit card is needed to make a booking. Payment for the service happens directly at the business, cash, card or the payment methods they accept.

If you're running late, contact the business as soon as possible. If you can't make it, cancel as early as you can so the business can offer the slot to someone else. Repeated no-shows may affect your future bookings at that business.

The customer side is available in Finnish, English and Swedish. You can change the language at any time from the language switcher in the header.

You can reach customer support via email. For issues related to a booking at a specific business, contact that business directly, their contact details are in your booking confirmation or on their profile page.
